Welcome to The Weekend Update

 

Spring Forward

 

It's week 8 — the final week for the Learn to Ski & Ride program! Thanks for helping to make an enjoyable and successful season for the community.

 

Join us in celebrating by dressing in your favorite costume for our festivities (no blow-ups, tails, or capes, on the chairlift)!

 

Don't forget on Sunday we spring forward one hour for Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m.

 

Weekend Activities:

 

  • Race Course for All
  • Scavenger Hunt (During morning lessons with your class)
  • Costume Parade on Webster at 12. Lap and boogie down the hill in your costume!

Rental Drop-Offs

 

When returning rental equipment, please make sure the equipment is scanned in by the rental department. Do not leave it unattended. Reno drop-off dates are coming soon. REMOVE TAPE AND STICKERS, AND BUCKLE YOUR BOOTS!

 

 

 

The Bumble Cafe

 

This weekend's specials are a patty melt and zupa tuscana. Show your support at the Cafe this weekend and give our volunteers a big THANK YOU!

Ski Friday & Meet Olympic Legends!

 

Carve some laps to end the week tomorrow then join us for a unique meet and greet with Olympic and World Cup icons including:

 

Franz Weber

Olympian & 6x World Speed Skiing Champion

 

Franz Klammer

1976 Olympic gold medalist and 25-time World Cup winner 

 

Tamara McKinney

World Cup Overall Champion & 18 wins

Lifts are open 2pm-5pm, free for members. Public may purchase tickets for just $25.

 

 

March Operations Schedule

March 14/15

Open skiing and riding. Bring a guest!

  • 12 and under are free!
  • $45 for ages 13 - 17, $75 per adult

 

March 21/22

Open skiing and riding (if conditions permit)

Anti Blackout Passholders

You are welcome to join us for the following midweek operation dates. Sky Tavern members without an Anti Blackout pass can join for $20/day. If you would like to bring a guest, please send us an email with the dates.

 

  • TMCC Wednesdays, 9 AM - 12 PM (March 11, & 18)
  • March 6th, 9 AM - 5 PM

Interested in Team Programs Next Season?

 

Interested in joining the Freestyle or Race Team next year? Take a lap or 2 with the coaches to see if it's the right fit.

 

  • Freestyle Team: Meet at the bottom of Sky ridge at 8:30 AM Saturday or Sunday. Prerequisite- Skiing/riding blues confidently.

 

  • Race Team: Meet at the bottom of Sky Ridge at 12 PM Saturday or Sunday. Prerequisite- Skiing/riding black runs confidently

Slide, grind, and snack your way into spring at Sky Tavern’s Hot Dogs & Juice Boxes Rail Jam on March 22! Whether you’re a pint-sized grom, a fearless youth, or an all-out adult shredder, this jam is your chance to throw down your steeziest tricks. It’s part contest, part party, and all about good vibes, great friends, and fun.
