Weekend Update 2/19/26 Part 1

Current Status: DEEP

Welcome to The Weekend Update

How high can you count? Because we’re talking 3 to 4 feet of fresh, fluffy snow piled up—and it’s still falling! Welcome back to winter.

This weekend's weather looks to be mostly sunny with very cold mornings —dress in layers to stay warm and dry! Safety should be top of mind too, so please review the deep snow tips below. Another storm system may arrive by Monday.

Read below for everything happening this weekend and beyond!

This Weekend's Headlines

The mountain looks quite a bit different than just a week ago! For your safety, ski with a buddy and steer clear of trees. Always have a meet up plan.

Lost and Found

We're acquiring quite the used gear selection from gloves dropped from the chair, jackets left in the lodge, and hats stashed in the bathroom.

Any items not picked up by the end of the season will be donated. We might just have that missing glove you've been looking for under the couch.

Best Chicken Tendies at 8,000 ft at The Bumble Cafe

Grab and go with your hot breakfast and lunch at The Bumble Cafe. This weekend's specials are teriyaki chicken bowls and wonton soup.

Layer Up With Merch

We restocked our hoodies, including some new colors for the kids! Drop by the merch shop next to The Bumble Cafe and warm up with a fresh hoodie or hat. Proceeds support the programs!

Boot Fittings & Adjustments

Ski Talk's Phil and Tricia Pugliese will host a ski booth adjustment clinic Saturday at noon in the upstairs back room. Phil and Tricia will also ski with the afternoon instructor clinics. Don't miss their valuable input and help.

Stars in the Sky

Our Volunteers of the Week are Zachary Schober and Betty Heian. Come by the front desk to claim your hat!

Special thanks to Blue Desert Portraits for shooting the action and smiles on the mountain these past few week.

EVERYONE over 18 must sign up for at least 2 hours of volunteering during each program day attended, including instructors.
