Welcome to The Weekend Update

 

Dry conditions persist into the weekend, but colder temps and snow are in the forecast for next week! Prepare for sunny skies on Saturday, with increasing clouds on Sunday.

 

Thanks to the volunteers and Patrol who assisted with the helicopter landing last Saturday.

 

Sign up for your volunteer role before you head up the mountain this weekend. Read below for everything happening this weekend.

This Weekend's Headlines

Snow Dances Commence!

 

If there ever was a time to do your snow dances, it's NOW!

 

Put everything you own in the freezer, place a silver spoon under your pillow, wash your car, get your skis and boards dialed in the Tune Room, and settle into the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games Friday evening with your PJs inside out. Let's GO!

Start the Day at The Bumble Cafe, Open for Breakfast and Lunch

 

This weekend's specials at The Bumble Cafe are a chicken caeser wrap and minestrone soup.

 

Cashless payments are preferred. Apple/tap pay is accepted. 

 

Buy a Gift Card for prepaid meals and merch! Gift cards can be picked up at the Front Desk.

Looking Ahead to President's Day

 

Join us on Monday, Feb. 16, for open skiing and riding for Anti Blackout Holiday passholders! Members without the pass can purchase a day ticket for $45. Ages 12 and under are free. Bring a non-member friend for $75.

Volunteer of the Week

Our Volunteers of the Week are Miranda Schober (Kitchen) and Stephen Stornetta (Race team)! Thanks for going above and beyond. Come by the front desk to claim your hat!

 

EVERYONE over 18 must have an account and sign up for at least 2 hours of volunteering, including instructors. You must sign up each week. If you forget to sign in, email us or stop by the front desk.

Requirements and Reminders

 

  • All students must have their Sky Tavern pass on them.
  • Helmets, goggles or sunglasses, and gloves are required.
  • Check your equipment (tighten screws, wax, check bindings, etc.)
  • Label everything (skis, poles, goggles, gloves, etc.)!
  • Late students: We will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot make any guarantees.

Instructor Clinics/Trainings

 

 

  • On-Snow Clinic Times: 1 - 3 PM
  • Sign up on the corkboard in the upstairs back room
  • Certification training and a variety of hot topics
  • Offered daily, depending on trainer availability 

Important Reminders

 

  • Trade in your snowball fights for snow dances. Snowball fights are not permitted.
  • Parking lot: Upper lot closes at 7:30. If the handicap spots are full, you must park in the lower lot. We cannot guarantee a spot. Arrive early!
  • Backpacks and related items must be worn on the front of the body when loading a chairlift.
  • Bring your own water bottle. We also have water bottles for sale.
  • Always wear your badge. 
  • Prepare and label your equipment before arrival 
  • YOUR CAR IS YOUR LODGE. No equipment inside the lodge.
