Dear Sky Tavern Members and Volunteers,
As we close the first week of the program, I wanted to extend a thank you to everyone who showed up and contributed their valuable time to make the weekend such a success! The Sky Tavern Team truly appreciates the efforts of our volunteers in creating memorable experiences across the mountain.
For those who haven’t volunteered yet, we need you. It is through your volunteer efforts that my Team keeps the program affordable and operating smoothly for all.
A few important reminders:
- Every adult Member is expected to volunteer 2 hours per day while on the mountain. You must sign up each week for your role. We can accommodate most personal needs within our volunteer positions. In the event we cannot, it must be coordinated in advance with Lythia.
- With the addition of our Bloomerang system, we can track volunteer participation. We will reach out to those who are not contributing to the program's success.
- We offer a pass that exempts you from volunteering if you choose. The cost is $2,500.00, and the purchase of this pass forgives you from your volunteering expectation. The cost of this pass is based on the labor cost to hire a part-time employee.
- Failing to volunteer deprives other members of the ability to enjoy the program.
It was incredibly rewarding to see all of the smiling faces and Members overcoming fears, creating friendships, building character, and positively interacting with the community.
To those who volunteered — THANK YOU SO MUCH. Your efforts did not go unnoticed, and I speak for the entire Membership when I say we are deeply grateful.
